Battlefield: Examples (30/46)
And, as expected here are the most obvious "first glance" ideas we can take from it: Emotions cluster Emotions part is highly positive in general, it is a fun massive cinematic brawl, after all. - Positive , Playtime 10h, review: "Game is a blast" - Positive , Playtime 22h, review: "too many cry babies in the reviews, just enjoy the damn game" - Positive , Playtime 64h, review: "The game is great" Nostalgia cluster Nostalgic part is highly positive, but less than "emotions", mostly describing, as expected, how this game continues the "battlefield vibes" - Positive , Playtime 54h, review: "Finally, a really awesome game again! And surprisingly, it's from EA. It's been a long time since I've played a game that I looked forward to all day at work. But Battlefield 6 has me hooked. It's definitely not perfect..... Then the game has the potential to become one of the best games in the series.... [skipped part describes problems] - Positive , Playtime 2h, review: "the game is great, classic battlefield runs great and the games are fun the best battlefield in a long time." - Positive , Playtime 22h, review: "Best battlefield since Battlefield 1. Glad to see them steering away from a forced ideology and get back to what made this game great." Nostalgia vs New Experience sub-group Important small part we can observe is that "Nostalgia vs New Experience" is extremely negative, compared to others. So there is a group of people explicitly telling about how BF6 is worse than previous games. And they are really detailed about that feeling. - Negative , Playtime 50h, review: "Call of Duty 6, eh, pardon my french. Battlefield 6 is worse in almost every aspect comparing it to the end of life 2042. And don't even get me started on the masterpiece that was BF1. There are no big maps, even the ones they advertised as "big" are small BF4 maps. They opened up the game, so that every class is able to use every weapon they want, just like 2042. Didn't like it there, same story in 6. This game has nothing to do with Battlefield. Its Call of Duty (2019) Ground Wars with smaller maps. Do not expect Battlefield in this Battlefield. Oh, and if you thought the UI is bad in the new Call of Duty games. You're in for a treat.... [skipped part describes Dice and CoD] - Positive , Playtime 87h, review: "Leaving a positive review because negative review bombs for a free2play mode that is financed through cosmetics are just giga cringe. While there is legit criticism, like the hitreg being ass or maps feeling too corridor-ish, it generally just feels really great. It is a lot of fun 2 play and imo the best BF since BF3. Theres a bunch of recency bias towards BF4, but people forget the mess this was at launch and the countless bugs this had and how much time it took dice to fix it. BF6 does tons of stuff great and the Battle Royale is also fun.... [skipped part describes "stop-crying"] Weapons & Variety cluster We get a huge chunk of weapon accuracy and variety, which is practically all about gun play. - Negative , Playtime 9h, review: "I have been a long time battlefield supporter and loved BF3/BF4 this game is an absolute disgrace... fast paced COD like experience. dudes running around open maps with SMGs like its COD with zero recoil. on the other hand the long distance guns have so much recoil you can only hit the first shot before and smg boy lasers you from 200m. The vehicle gameplay is HORRIBLE you get locked onto as soon as you spawn into a vehicle damn near. right after take off in a jet or heli your dead cause because they have missiles that just ignore your flares. same with the tanks and such. the tiny maps suck. cant believe i spent a hundred bucks on this, always preferred Bf to COD but after this idk" - Positive , Playtime 16h, review: " Very well optimized, until now basically bug free, great Battlefield feeling, satisfying gun and game play, maps look pretty af . we are so back <3" Performance cluster Performance becomes more "split", with different groups describing it as terrible (29% positive, for Crash and Stability), while others (68.8% positive, Performance and Optimization issues) describe it as not that dramatic. - Negative , Playtime 14h, review: "i would recommend but the game keeps crashing due to directX /GPU driver crashing despite traying lots of fixes - only happens with this game and in multiplayer campaign works fine. EA/DICE fix your crap!" - Negative , Playtime 13h, review: "crashes every 10 minutes. campaign is garbage, multiplayer is fine. don't care about a battle royale or battlepass. it does nothing to improve on the previous titles." - Positive , Playtime 109h, review: "Solid game, some bugs that have yet to be addressed, however overall game experience is extremely fun." - Positive , Playtime 109h, review: "nice game but fix optimization" Monetization & EA cluster Lots of criticism towards Anti-cheat, EA actions, and money, as expected. - Positive , Playtime 53h, review: "Remember folks you dont need to buy a battlepass and you have free will to not play the BR you can switch the assignments. Solid game although some maps are lacking flanking spots currently" - Negative , Playtime 42h, review: "$100 dollar game look inside oh they duped us and added a store and $30 battlepass 2 weeks in so we can't refund....... And for once i thought i could enjoy a multiplayer shooter again." - Negative , Playtime 45h, review: "Editing to negative review after they released battlepass ... I payed 70€ for this"
