Battlefield: Brief (31/46)
We won't take an insanely deep dive in this to keep the article short (shorter, to be real), I highly encourage you to look at charts yourself. Let's just over-simplify some of the things to get an actionable insight. Positive feedback mostly comes from emotions - people enjoyed playing games, and they have excitement to share with us. But once we meet "advanced" player base, who is aware of the terminology of game design, for example, we get much more negative feedback. In other words, the more "picky" a player is, the more negative sides of the game he can notice, which eventually will affect his decision to leave a negative review. Only small portion of reviews is aware of AI technologies, EA "memes", BIOS anti-cheat and specific things like TTK (Time-To-Kill), but they are leaving highly negative and polarized reviews, whereas other "groups" are leaving somewhat more even feedback. And while one might say "So what? They did a poor job on AI, TTK, and mechanics, just make better games" - we're gonna look at how that changes over time, trying to understand the "negative-feedback loop".
