Long-living games (15/46)
When I first got this idea, it honestly felt slightly counterintuitive. What about a new incoming audience? What about old audience getting out of gaming? What about the feeling of novelty that we all so anticipate so much? To answer those questions, we need to look at some CCU charts , since those are more accurate and presentable in some sense. Look at those games. Some of them are growing, some of them are keeping their audience. But it is clear that those are not the same players playing over and over and over again for years straight. That must involve a new audience, the stream of which is so strong, that it surpasses the natural decay of interest. Even for solo games. Even for low-replayability (no random generation, story based, no multiplayer).
