Releasing side (45/46)
Weaponize data+knowledge - avoid investing too much into "simple truths", simple metrics, simple statistics and one-sided opinions. Truth is that data doesn't mean anything on its own, nor will even the most mathematically accurate statistics tell you what to do. We need to learn how to connect multi-dimensional quantifiable factors with our perception, expertise, and production strategy. And don't expect it to be universal, other methods and paradigms might, and will not suit you. You need to build the system of knowledge on your own. Launch Outside of Steam Review system - give your game time to sort everything out. You don't want first impressions to affect your future, and don't want to get swarmed by dissociated feedback either. Apparently, Early Access seems less and less of what it used to be, or meant to be. Perhaps, one of the next topics will be addressing this problem separately, but for now, just look at what Valve themselves are doing - Deadlock had more than 150k CCU, has been in the playable stage for more than a year now, and... it is yet "to be announced", and you cannot leave reviews on its Steam page. Apparently, №4 is what we are targeting with Pneumatix. You could've felt that if this Trap is true, then maybe Pneumatix is useless too? This is the question we have been trying to solve for ourselves first, for our internal analytical tools. The platform we are building doesn't aim to hit the most accurate and easy-to-follow predictions for everyone. No, our goal is to build a platform, where you can build, or find tools, methods and knowledge that work for you . Not for all, but for each . Because, we believe that reality is more complicated than one number or a chart can tell.
