Civilization: playtime distribution №2 (23/46)
Civilization 6 (2016) and Civilization 7 (2025), but again, different visualization. Here we can again observe how "reception" changes with playtime. We see almost exact "curvature" on 30 days scale, but shifted down by ~20%. Intuitively we can partly address low-time negativity here with the business model of the game, which is kept for their last three games at least - initial release kinda lacks content and balance, which the developer is improving over time, releasing DLCs with new systems. Another interesting thing to notice, is that "reception" actually grows the more you played the game, for both games, but most noticeably for Civilization 7. We observed same pattern on Hollow Knight, but I haven't covered it because we have less data about it.
